Acumatica Summit 2024 was an incredibly important event for the entire PC Bennett team.
Summit, for those of you who don’t know, is Acumatica’s annual gathering of users, value-added resellers (VARs), independent software vendors (ISVs), and other industry professionals to discuss the future of the platform, attend educational opportunities, and hear inspiring customer stories about how the ERP has helped them exceed their goals. There were some big changes to the event this year compared to previous iterations, most notably swapping out the vast majority of training opportunities for breakout sessions and panels. There were more than 100 different sessions for attendees to engage with experts, interact with Acumatica team members, and learn how they can grow their businesses. The PC Bennett team truly enjoyed taking in this updated experience and learned a lot from all the subject matter experts.
We also attended the two keynote presentations on the first and second full days of Summit. These talks were packed full of awesome news about where the platform and company will be in the coming years. Some of the highlights included the unveiling of a revamped and more modern user interface that will be able to be previewed in the next major release 2024 R1, the announcement of a new logo, and a sneak peek of a new edition, the Professional Services module, that will be built on the platform’s project accounting and robust billing/scheduling capabilities. There is so much to be looking forward to and we are thrilled to bring these updates to our clients and prospects in the coming years.
Our company and our clients at Curran were nominated for multiple awards before the three days at Wynn Las Vegas. PC Bennett won Acumatica’s Excellence Award for Customer Success and was one of the finalists for Retail–Commerce Partner of the Year. These recognitions were crucial reminders of why we dedicate so much time and effort to supporting our clients in implementing their ERP solutions and ensuring their success once they are live on the platform. Without the help from our Customer Success, Sales, Consulting, and Support teams, none of the nominations would’ve been possible.
Our client Curran also left Las Vegas with the outstanding recognition of being Acumatica’s Manufacturing Customer of the Year! They were nominated and won this prestigious award for their unique use of the platform’s Manufacturing module and, more specifically, the built-in product configurator that allows them to easily manage their bespoke products rather than having 6 trillion separate SKUs.
Lastly, we were so thrilled to bring our team members and clients who attended Summit together for a customer appreciation dinner. Nights like that are always a fantastic reminder that we don’t always need to always be about business. We were able to break down the walls of professionalism and simply enjoy a lovely meal together as friends. It was a fantastic experience to see so many people that we hadn’t seen in a while or had never met in person. With so many of our meetings being over Zoom or Microsoft Teams, it was fantastic to see everyone face to face and enjoy each other’s company. We want to extend a sincere thank you to our friends at CREO, CrossLink, Curran, Deseret Book Company, DiamondBack Covers, Get Sojo, Gabriel Cosmetics, HemaSource, Merchant Du Vin, Nora Fleming, PAX Labs, Scott Fetzer Consumer Brands, Solstice Innovations, and WeDriveU for attending!
Acumatica Summit 2024 lived up to all the hype and was both educational and a blast. We are thrilled to have attended once again and look forward to more Acumatica events in the future. Once again, thank you to all of our clients who attended the week in Vegas and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
