The PC Bennett team was fortunate to spend a week in Las Vegas at Acumatica Summit 2025, the company’s annual gathering of users, value-added resellers (VARs), independent software vendors (ISVs), and other industry professionals. Summit is the biggest event every year in the Acumatica community and is a time for people who use and work on the platform to get together, network and learn about how the platform is evolving and improving.
This year was especially important to the PC Bennett team because of how our customers were at the center of our experience. We had two clients highlighted during the event, with DiamondBack Truck Covers included multiple times during videos played at the keynote sessions and Nora Fleming’s collection being featured in the product showcase.

We were so fortunate to have 32 clients in attendance to extend their Acumatica knowledge and we were blessed to host them for our annual customer dinner. It is so nice to be able to see them in person and take down the walls of business to further our relationship with them. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all who attended!
Additionally, there were three people in the PC Bennett orbit who received Acumatica MVP awards. DiamondBack’s Director of Information Systems Scott Stilson, HemaSource’s Software Engineer and Developer Josh Wright, and PC Bennett’s Yuri Karpenko all received the honor. PC Bennett was also a finalist for the Retail-Commerce VAR Excellence Award which recognizes partners who support the most clients in that sector.
We were also able to learn about all the new advancements that Acumatica has coming down its pipeline, starting with the next release, 25R1, that comes out in just a few months. Needless to say, there are so many fantastic enhancements coming to the platform, but two very interesting additions that we are excited about are the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the ability to create attributes at the lot or serial level. Both of these are very exciting updates that will have a huge impact on the platform for many years to come.
First, with AI, Acumatica unveiled its generative AI assistant which is their version of practical, responsible intelligence that empowers businesses to gain valuable insights into their data by asking it simple questions. For example, during one of the keynote sessions, an Acumatica representative asked the new AI bot how their business’s performance was for a given day. It was able to assess all the company’s data for that day and provided a breakdown as well as actionable insights into efficiencies that could be gained. This has massive implications for how efficient and effective businesses can be in the future.
With attributes at the lot or serial level, users will now be able to create custom data fields that are attached at these inventory levels. This is huge for businesses that need to log very specific data about certain items. For example, Acumatica used in their keynote the case of a retailer that sells used items and how they would be able to create an attribute to represent the condition of a serialized item. That retailer could be selling used cameras, and they now have the ability to indicate in the platform that one of their cameras is in “mint” condition, another in “fair” condition, and a third that has “Scratch & Dent.”
Lastly, there were other enhancements added to the platform like the ability to create distribution lists for scheduled reports, numeric anomaly detection, guest checkout capabilities in the native Shopify connector, creating production orders by build capacity, and further advancements to the new, modern user interface.
