This year in Las Vegas at SEMA and AAPEX, we did something truly special. Not only did we host the Acumatica booth at SEMA for the eighth time, but we also set up shop at AAPEX for the first time in our company’s history! It was truly exciting having booths at both trade shows, with a total of 160,000 people having eyes on PC Bennett and Acumatica. This is by far the automotive aftermarket’s largest industry event, and it is the best possible destination for our team’s effort at making Acumatica the premier, leading ERP solution for this community.
New eCommerce SWAG initiative
One of the best parts about the entire experience was our innovative way of demonstrating the power of Acumatica with our newly built eCommerce SWAG site, which was created on the BigCommerce platform. This was a unique initiative our internal team thought of where we secured merchandise from some of our current clients like Banks Power and DiamondBack Truck Covers, as well as partners like Acumatica and BigCommerce, and offered these items for free to SEMA and AAPEX attendees.
Our booth visitors purchased an item from the eCommerce site (with a coupon code that made everything free), went through the checkout process, and then their order was available to be picked up at our booth. What made this really cool and grabbed the attention of our guests was that we then showed them how to process their orders in Acumatica. Taking people through the entire cart-to-cash process in the ERP really drew people in and allowed us to feel very proud with how intrigued folks were with the system and what it could do for their business.
What is next for PC Bennett?
Now that we have closed out the busy week that was SEMA and AAPEX, we are looking forward to being in Indianapolis from December 12 through the 14 for the PRI Show. This will give us another wonderful opportunity to demonstrate the power of Acumatica and our new eCommerce SWAG site to the automotive aftermarket community and we can’t wait!
