POSITION SUMMARY

LOCATION: Dallas
TRAVEL: Less than 30%
COMP: 100k-150k base salary, depending on experience

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Practice Director to lead our ERP consultancy practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring the successful delivery of ERP projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of ERP systems, and the ability to align practice goals with overall company objectives.

OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, expansion, and profitability within the ERP practice.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of ERP professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for escalated issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
Project Oversight: Oversee the management of ERP projects, ensuring timely and successful completion while meeting client requirements and quality standards.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges.
Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the practice, implementing best practices and operational efficiencies.
Performance Monitoring: Implement and maintain effective performance measurement and reporting systems to track practice performance.
Financial Management: Review financial performance, manage budgets, and implement cost-effective measures.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to align practice goals with overall company objectives and strategies.

COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Position will require prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Strong knowledge of business financials within ERP.
Strong technical skills and experience.
Goal-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Active listener with the ability to translate customer needs to Development and/or Senior Consulting teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ERP support or a related field, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
