Practice Director
POSITION SUMMARY
LOCATION: Dallas
TRAVEL: Less than 30%
COMP: 100k-150k base salary, depending on experience
Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Practice Director to lead our ERP consultancy practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring the successful delivery of ERP projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of ERP systems, and the ability to align practice goals with overall company objectives.

OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, expansion, and profitability within the ERP practice.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of ERP professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for escalated issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the management of ERP projects, ensuring timely and successful completion while meeting client requirements and quality standards.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the practice, implementing best practices and operational efficiencies.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and maintain effective performance measurement and reporting systems to track practice performance.
- Financial Management: Review financial performance, manage budgets, and implement cost-effective measures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to align practice goals with overall company objectives and strategies.
COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Position will require prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Strong knowledge of business financials within ERP.
- Strong technical skills and experience.
- Goal-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Active listener with the ability to translate customer needs to Development and/or Senior Consulting teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ERP support or a related field, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
